Today me and my family (mother, father, sister and my sister's boyfriend) went to the restaurant.
My first dish was a soup of noodles, my second dish was meat and chips and for dessert (postre) was a flan of egg.
I liked the dinner a lot.

"groom" means "mozo de cuadra". you mean "novio" = boyfriend
Novio también puede ser "bridegroom", pero no se utiliza mucho.
